Children of The World: from Nobel Peace Prize Winner Kailash Satyarthi
Here is our video message derived from Kailash Satyarthi’s historic 2014 Nobel Peace Prize acceptance speech. As a global advocate for children, Kailash Satyarthi has dedicated over 35 years to this goal through the eradication of child slavery and exploitative labor. He has founded the Kailash Satyarthi Children’s Foundation. The foundation’s mission is to help create, implement, and advocate child-friendly policies that ensure the holistic development and empowerment of children.

In early 2016 the Dear World team traveled to India to explore the stories of former child slaves. We spent a week with over 80 children of the Bal Ashram, where they live and learn to become future leaders in India. We heard many stories of the broken lives they came from. We created this story to share with you a day in their lives now, and to let them tell you with their own voices, where they are going.
